Punishment by Julius von Bismarck | today and... →
Punishment is a new series of works by Julius von Bismarck. He traveled to Switzerland, South America and the United States to whip mother nature or certain landmarks, like the Atlantic ocean, a glacier or the Jesus statue in Rio de Janeiro. He made beautiful video documentations of each whipping, unfortunately I could only find the video of the whipping of the Jesus statue in Brazil.

Photographer Makes “Chlorophyll Prints” Using... →
Binh Danh begins by picking a leaf — often from his mother’s garden. To keep it from drying out, he fills a small bag with water and ties it to its stem. He places the leaf on a felt-covered board, and puts a negative directly on the leaf (he has an archive of images he’s collected from magazines and purchased online). He places glass over the leaf, clips the glass and board together, and...

Top 5 Ruins of the Japanese Sex Industry via... →
In ruins the hidden secrets of sex are laid bare. All our most intimate truths come out in the wash. The den of our fornication will rot and mold will form on the sheets where we grunted out our last passions. Sex. In life, as in death, it’s a messy business. Here are five ruined dens of sex from around Japan. More here
